My family and I have faced a particularly demanding period following my son's diagnosis of a ruptured appendix, which required an extended stay at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Fortunately, he is now on the mend and preparing for surgery in June. Inevitably, this has meant missing some events and canceling appointments.
