North Shore VFW Post 4737

North Shore VFW Post 4737 Serving the north shore of Chicago since 1945, we proudly serve our Veterans, Military and Community and advocate on behalf of all Veterans.

We are located within the Legendary Wooden Nickel in Highwood, IL and meet the second thursday of each month @7. We can proudly say that within our Post we have had Congressional Medal of Honor, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Air Medal, Navy Cross, Purple Hearts, and other decorations of honor recipients. Members of our Post have served in the Spanish-American War, in France and on the Atlantic during

WWI, with the Marines in Nicaragua in 1923, in all theatres of operation during WWII, the Berlin Blockade, Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Each and every member is proud to be a part of Post 4737.
