The business traces its roots back to 1973 when Sally Borzillo and a friend began creating handcrafted leather goods. Today, Sally, her husband Mark, and daughters Molly Monahan and her sister continue that legacy, offering expert shoe repair, handcrafted leather products, American-made work boots, cast iron cookware, and much more.

While cobbling is a centuries-old trade, Molly says the need for skilled repair is growing as consumers increasingly invest in quality footwear designed to last. With fewer cobblers in the industry, Saleigh Mountain has become a trusted destination for customers seeking expert craftsmanship and personalized service.

From replacing soles and heels to orthopedic lifts, zipper repairs, stretching shoes and hats, and restoring treasured leather goods, the team is known for tackling jobs many thought impossible. Their passion for helping people is evident the moment you walk through the door.

As Saleigh Mountain Leather Co. celebrates this milestone anniversary, the family remains committed to quality, tradition, and serving the Hermann community. And according to Molly, there are even more exciting things ahead.
