YOU DON’T JUST LOSE SOMEONE ONCE
You lose them over and over,
sometimes in the same day.
When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
and attacks you from behind.
Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.
Again.
You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every time you open your eyes to a new dawn,
and as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.
Again.
Losing someone is a journey,
not a one-off.
There is no end to the loss,
there is only a learned skill on how to stay afloat,
when it washes over.
Be kind to those who are sailing this stormy sea,
they have a journey ahead of them,
and a daily shock to the system each time they realise,
they are gone,
Again.
You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every day,
for a lifetime.

This is the day my heart got broken. February 5th 2016 at 10:37PM GOD called my Sweet Larry home to Heaven.
When I met Larry and fell in love he saved me from myself. He brought me to GOD And shared his little girl Bobbie at the age of 4 years old with me. I was proud to be his wife and Bobbie’s mom. We had a happy life of 38 years. He introduced me to the world of horses. That was Larry’s fourth love after GOD Bobbie and me. He was fun sweet and loves his GOD. Today will be a hard one for me. Your prayers for strength will be needed and appreciated. I do know one thing GOD loves me. Yes HE TOOK LARRY BUT HE BROUGHT ME THROUGH THESE SEVEN YEARS WITH MY HEART IN HIS HANDS. THANK YOU GOD FOR HOLDING ME IN THE BAD TIMES AND THE GOOD. THANK YOU TO ALL FOR ALL WHO HAVE BEEN THERE FOR ME. THANK YOU BOBBIE FOR STATING IN MY LIFE. I LOVE YOU BOBBIE.
