All parts of dandelions are edible except the stem, even the roots! Dandelions have many beneficial vitamins and minerals such as A, C, E, iron, potassium, calcium, and folate to name a few. These plants have been used in many cultures to treat ailments like inflammation, skin conditions, stomach problems, and high blood pressure. Dandelions are also a great antioxidant and immune booster. If you already take medication for the aliments listed above it is best to consult with a doctor before consuming. If you pick your own, make sure flowers are sourced away from roads and where pesticides are not sprayed.

A small introduction of me 💗
Hi! I’m Kelsie. My full time gig is in the classroom (prek) and we all know education is underfunded unfortunately, so here I am taking my love of nature and pretty rocks and turning it into a small business. Using foraged wild plants to create beneficial products and laugh in the face of big pharma as well as creating simplistic crystal jewelry locally sourced from small shops surrounding us.
