If those walls could tell the stories of that home...

Pardon the long pause on posting! The Holiday season was a great one - full of great time with friends and family. It's hard to believe we're almost a full month into 2014.

I'm hoping to get a few weekend trips scheduled in the next few months to get to some parts of the state I haven't gone searching in yet. Lots of you have recommended places to check out and that will certainly play a part into some of my travels in 2014. I'm so excited to explore more!

In the meantime, if you live in or near Sioux Falls, a local coffee shop, Coffea Roasterie in Downtown Sioux Falls Inc. is hosting an artist's reception for the project on February 7 from 7 - 9 PM. You can take a peek at some of the pictures as they've been hanging in the shop for the past month, chat with me, have a great cup of coffee and listen to some live music. Should be a great night!

Until then, enjoy this pic I stumbled across tonight. I took it a few years ago during a family portrait session. It's an old rock house that their family lived in. I would have never found it if they hadn't taken me right to it's front door.
