This set contains a total of at least 35 carats of GENUINE Australian Opals, paired with GENUINE Hematite sourced from Mesabi Range, Minnesota.

The 1” drop earrings consist of hypo-allergenic surgical stainless steel Shepherd’s hooks and sterling silver findings.

The 7” bracelet consists of stainless steel chain, sterling silver findings and a silver-plated metal magnetic clasp.

The 17” necklace consists of stainless steel chain, sterling silver findings and a silver-plated metal twist/screw clasp.

Opal is October’s birthstone.

The Story So Far ...

Recently commissioned Family Tree of Life. This wearable art is quite versatile as it is able to serve as either a pendant or a brooch; and the pendant can be worn with or without the brooch pin at the top of the design. The brooch pin can also be worn as a stand-alone lapel pin or tie pin.

The wire used is Artistic™ silver plated/silver fill tarnish resistant wire in both 14 and 26 gauges.

The design measures 2.5 x 1.8 inches (65 x 45 mm).

The Brooch pin contains an 8mm round Zambian Amethyst cabochon weighing 1.83cts, secured to a silver plated base metal pin.

The tree is surrounded by 36 – 4mm faceted round Brazilian Rose Quartz with a combined weight of 16.56cts.

The tree’s foundation stone is a natural, free-form 3.6ct Moldavite from the Czech Republic. Moldavite is a projectile rock formed by a meteorite impact in southern Germany (Nördlinger Ries Crater) that occurred about 15 million years ago.

Just above the tree’s foundation stone are the Parent stones: 1.21ct Sapphire (Africa) and .99ct Amethyst (Zambia).

The tree’s trunk contains the anniversary stone: .35ct Aquamarine (South Africa).

The branches contain the children’s stones (L-R): .8ct Garnet (India), .3ct Aquamarine (South Africa), .44ct Citrine (Brazil), .3ct Welo Opal (Ethiopia) and .67ct Garnet (India).

For fun, and a bit of whimsy, I’ve added a 5.3ct Burmese Jadeite to act as the Moon.

This particular Family Tree of Life is complete with a hearty 30 inch Sterling Silver Filo chain.

Shiva Eye Stone ring - Made for a spiritual and soulful friend who tapped into me when I needed to be distracted. It’s a bit chaotic due to crafting it from a recliner rather than the workbench. The weaves are meant to act as eyelashes 😁 a stretch to be sure. I hope she enjoys this whimsy presentation of the Third Eye Chakra. ♥️

Family Tree Suncatcher - Made for a family that brings me joy on-the-regular. The foundation stone at the bottom is a Herkimer Diamond Quartz. The stones at the base of the tree are the parents’ birthstones. The stone in the trunk is the marriage month stone. The stones in the branches are the children’s birthstones. Surrounding the family are stones of love (rose quartz). Measures roughly 2” x 1.5”, so would serve easily as a window suncatcher, a pendant, an ornament or rear-view mirror dangle. It would be simple to add more children to the branches 😉

A stretchy bracelet for a special friend containing Ruby, Hematite, wood, Rose Quartz, Copper, Black Agate and Lava Rock.

The Lava Rock is porous and can hold the scent of a happy memory. Lava rock increases a connection to Mother Earth, promotes stability through times of change and helps dissipate anger.

The Hematite is in Morse Code. ..♥️..- (I love U). Hematite is a grounding element promoting peace and inner happiness.

Ruby is believed to help remove sadness, prevent nightmares, and aids in overcoming exhaustion and lethargy.

Black Agate is said to promote calming peace during bereavement and encourages inner strength to move forward.

Rose Quartz helps you get to know and love your true self.

Wood is a grounding element with appreciation for nature and Earth.

Copper (crosses) helps improve circulation and detoxification of the blood.
