Possession dates are coming up for sheep, goats, and pigs. I believe sheep and goats are due April 1st and pigs are April 8th.

Registration is open for the 2026 Ohio 4-H Horse Program Horse Bowl & Hippology Competitions!

Both events will be held during Equine Affaire at the Ohio Expo Center on April 11, 2026.

📅 Registration closes Wednesday, March 25 at 5:00 PM.

To be eligible to compete, each contestant must:
✔️ Be currently enrolled in a 4-H or FFA horse project
✔️ Be a member in good standing with the county they represent
✔️ Have successfully completed EquiSTEP

⚠️ All requirements must be completed by the registration deadline.

Our store for club shirt orders is now open and will close on March 28th. This will give us time to remind everyone at the March meeting to get any last minute orders in before the store closes. 📢🐴 Ohio 4-H Horse Poster Contest Reminder 🐴📢

All poster entries and registration forms must be submitted by March 7, 2026.

📌 Important Updates:

Mailed entries will no longer be accepted.

Posters must be delivered in person to the State Horse Communications Contest or HorsePalooza event.

Late entries will not be accepted.

Both the poster and completed registration form must be turned in at the address listed on the official registration form. The registration form must include signatures from:
✔️ Participant
✔️ Parent/Guardian
✔️ 4-H Advisor
✔️ County Extension Professional or FFA Advisor

⚠️ Posters will not be accepted without a properly completed registration form with all required signatures.

📍 Posters must be delivered during contest or clinic check-in on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Nationwide and Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center (2201 Fred Taylor Dr, Columbus, OH 43210).

The 4-H member does not have to be present to submit the poster.

Please plan ahead and make sure your materials are ready for submission! 🎨🐎
