While I’m waiting on a bead order to finish a few works in progress, let me introduce a behind the scenes helper. Little Gray supervises the projects as I work on them, assists in setting up and making sure the light box is in working order for photographing and loves napping on the job.

PAINT, PENCIL, TIME IN THE STUDIO -- JOY!
March 30 to May 31

Local artist Barb Allen has been painting and drawing for 70 years. Her challenge to herself everyday is, “Keep working, keeping seeing, keep pushing.” She has studied with living legends who have graced her with their critiques, support, and guidance. The most important element of a good painting is the story. She is humbled every day because she has the privilege of being an artist.

This exhibit is on display at the Harrisburg Library in the lower-level conference room, Alice Barnes Room. Please visit the exhibit anytime during regular library hours. There will be a closing reception on Sunday, May 31st between 2:00 & 3:30 PM.
