As the story goes, the inventor of this watch sought inspiration from the animal kingdom. Together, his team concluded that if a cricket could be so small, yet so loud, then so could an alarm on a mechanical wrist watch.

That's where the name of this 1950's Vulcain comes from. This watch was brought to us to service recently, and this is a demonstration of the working alarm. What an incredible technology for its time!
