Yup it’s the Property Brothers in person at the Kitchen Bath Industry Show in Orlando...sadly I wasn’t the one who saw them (sob sob) but my hubby was kind enough to take a picture for me. I may be a little jealous! Patrick Tillman

It’s become an occupational hazard as a designer to always redo and refresh little vignettes in my own house. I love trays, pictures of my babies, yummy smelling candles and fresh flowers. I whipped this sweet arrangement together last spring and still love it. This cold weather has me wishing for fresh cut flowers and warm sunshine!

New headboard for my Harper man...disassembled our old futon frame, screwed two scrap pieces of wood to the back for support and trimmed the legs with a manual saw. Next..blue and green painted stripes! Easy DIY!

A few years ago my oldest daughter decided she was done sharing a bedroom with her sister...she grabbed some pillows, a blanket and all her stuffed animals and moved her self to the "undesigned" playroom. A few weeks later on the day of her 5th grade graduation I surprised her with a mini- bedroom transformation...her reaction was priceless! Here are the before and after photos.
