As the wedding season continues and prices keep going up, many brides have asked for transparency in prices. This is MY bouquet pricing 101.
What makes a price vary for my silk bouquets? First and foremost the cost of supplies. When a flower is in demand, either fresh or silk the price goes up. Unfortunately.
Size is next. The bigger the bouquet, the more supplies, the higher the cost.
Some silk flowers and greenery can cost less such as foam flowers, although those have doubled in the last few months too. Silk flowers are more expensive because they take different supplies to make. Some silks run an average of $4 on up. The same is true for greenery either Silk vs plastic or a combination of the two.
Fillers such as grasses and bunny tails or unique flowers also add to the price.
How many flowers and how much greenery is next. My bouquets I design a clean underneath. You will not see stem wires or anything else because to me, if I don’t it looks messy.
All my bouquets have some form of stem wrap ribbon too. Wires are sharp and can cut and even snag a dress.
Shown are 5 different versions of bridesmaids bouquets in foam and silk both with different grasses and greenery. They vary in size 7-12 inches and pricing ranges from $35-$65. All of these designs are available.
I hope this helps.
