Bartenders Against Plastic A group to bring awareness to the plastic, non biodegradable products being used in mass quantities

A group united to reform and do simple free effortless actions while in bars or working in bars and restaurants that will reduce waste. In NYC alone there are 35,000 food or beverage venues that use plastic straws, plastic to go containers, plastic bags, plastic stirrers, plastic silver ware, etc etc. This group is meant to bring awareness to the consumers and servers that use these products and to suggest conservation of use or not using them at all.

Now more than ever we need to protect our planet. It is up to our state, city and town governments and we the people to conserve, recycle and keep our planet healthy. The federal government is only going to protect the profits of the oil, gas and coal industries. We are witnessing a whole new era of greed like we have never seen before.
