Happy Wednesday my loveliesβ¨οΈππͺ½
β¨οΈπ«ΆLonger post than normal alert but worth the read I promiseπ«Άβ¨οΈ
I wanted to share the sticker I was talking about on live last Friday that I picked up on my birthday Keyley Shae Design Co. ( go check out her shop it so awesome). This is the quote that meant a lot to me in the week after my Nana's passing. I was heartbroken, sad, and just missing all the beautiful things that made her who she was on this earth to me and countless others. Honestly, most of all, I was just not wanting to accept the reality that she was no longer here, that I would never see her again in this life, get one last hug from her, never get to say goodbye, and never get to hear that cackle of a laugh that was so uniquely hers. When I heard this quote for the first time in the show, I just had to pause it and cry. I don't mean like a pretty cry, I mean the crying that hurts your chest and the kind you think will not ever stop. I had cried so much in that week I didn't think I would have any tears left, but there I was crying over a show that was somehow mirroring my reality.
Grieving means you loved someone and that love still lives in you for that person, no matter how long or short you knew them, that love lives on in your memories, in the way they loved, and the way you remember them. Grief does not have a time period, it has no rhyme or reason, it just sneaks in sometimes and makes a place for itself in everyday moments. That's why this sticker meant so much showing up in a week I had been missing my Nana and others I've lost so much, and just wanting to love on them. In the same way, revealing the angel wing ring from the Halo collection last Friday just made me feel the same way, it was like God giving me a sign saying I see your hurting, I got them, and I got you--you will see them again one day.β¨οΈπͺ½ I want to say thanks as well to my fizzy family for giving me the space to have a moment to just cry and let it out--all the sadness, overwhelm, and stress that my body has been feeling these last few weeks. I try to be as honest and real as I can be on my lives, and I am so grateful and blessed to have you each one of you in my life and lives (see what I did there?π).
If you are missing someone you have lost, know that their love never leaves you, it lives in you and in the way you share that love with others.π«Άβ¨οΈ
Is there someone you have lost that you would like to share with us?π«Ά
Let us know in the comments below, I would feel honored for you to share that person's memory with us so we can see their light too, even if it is just a glimmer. β¨οΈβ¨οΈ
