Jim Siegel is the 4th generation owner of Siegel Jewelers. From a young age, Jim was immersed in the jewelry world, often running errands and making deliveries for the store. In his teen years, he was the store's machine engraver. In 1972 Jim was officially put on the payroll. After studying at the Gemological Institute of America and earning the title of Certified Gemologist Appraiser, Jim took charge of appraising jewelry. As leader of Siegel Jewelers, Jim now focuses on the big picture — guiding staff, marketing, and finances into the future.
You are more likely to see him mingling with the city of Grand Rapids than you are to see him behind the counter at the store. If you see him though, be sure to say hello! He loves to meet new people.
