Clients occasionally see a stone they fall in love with, but really don't like the setting it's in.

I am just fine with that. Clients often have fabulous ideas, and both Mike and I enjoy seeing the results of the collaborative efforts!

Instead of it's original split shanked halo design, the client had us reset the piece into a new ring with lemon quartz and amethyst accents.

We brought this beauty to life for a client recently! Featuring a 2 carat, lemon yellow, emerald cut moissanite, with two 1/2 carat pure white emerald cut moissanite accents. This ring is set into 925 silver, but could also be made with yellow, rose or white gold! There's so many color/cut/size combinations out there, we were thrilled to be able to do something really unique!

My niece graduated high school this year! She'll be attending Northern Michigan University, so we crafted her this ring, to celebrate her transition from her high school, Blue and White, to NMU, green and gold!
Made in silver, with blue and green moissanite, with yellow sapphires and white moissanite accents!

Today's, "What does it look like outside?" Features a 2.5 carat Dutch Marquise cut pink spinel. The hue of this stone really reminds me of an African Violet pink - it has more purple in it than a straight pink. It's a lovely stone, and the setting around it is super unique - and extremely hefty feeling.

Sunstones are one of my favorite gems! This particular piece is a lovely mid peach hue, and has a lot of the shimmer called "schiller". These sparkly little inclusions are tiny metallic fragments that occur naturally in Sunstones, and are considered highly desirable. This stones cut is just a hair wonky, so its set about as straight as I can get it!
These natural gemstones are all one of a kind, and are all set and customized in our studios in Middleville, Michigan.

It's not nearly as nice out today! This is the exact opposite of the white fire opal - a black fire opal, set into chonky 925 silver with black spinel accents. It's a hefty feeling, unique, comfortable ring. All of the gemstone rings posted are unique pieces, and what you see is what you get.

For today's "What does it look like on Karen's back porch?" We have a 3 carat, natural white fire opal, in 925 silver. I get a lot of questions 'What does it look like in the sun?" And frankly, living in Western Michigan, we don't get a lot of bright, intense sun, so this is a pretty nice day to show you! Fire opals are some of my favorite stones, and you can easily see why!

New today! Watermelon Rainbow Red Moissanite, with Fire Lotus Sapphires, in stunning 925 Sterling Silver Three stone ring. This ring pairs beautifully, the band sits flush with the three stone ring. It's pictured with a 3mm 12 stone rainbow moissanite band, but can be made with matching solid watermelon red moissanites!
