In January 2026, The Memorial Day committee applied for trademark protection of the West Virginia's Official Memorial Day logo. The logo is owned by the Memorial Day Parade committee. If you want to use the logo, to make items for monetary gain or merchandising, you are required to attend a meeting to obtain the proper permissions and approval from the committee.
