There’s a reason this beautiful gemstone has been loved for centuries — and September babies get to claim it as their own. ✨

A few fun facts about sapphire:

💎 While blue is the color we know best, sapphires actually come in almost every color of the rainbow including pink, yellow, green and purple!

💎 Sapphire and ruby are actually members of the same mineral family, corundum. Red corundum is called ruby, while the other gem-quality colors are sapphires!

💎 Sapphires have long symbolized loyalty, sincerity and faithfulness, making them especially meaningful in both birthstone and bridal jewelry.
