Whatever your pet and whatever your pet's needs are... you can find the care you're looking for at South Golden Pet Hospital ! This group of veterinary professionals has new offices near the King Soopers on South Golden Road with many available services, including dental, aging care, urgent care, surgery, wellness checks, and more. We're so thankful to them for joining the Chamber at the Influencer level, helping other businesses in Golden move forward and grow!

We had a lovely time at our VIP networking event for Leader Tier Members and Investors and our Golden Board of Directors this week. We enjoyed meeting the new VP of Operations at Coors Brewing Company plus socializing over beers at Bill's Pub! Each member received an honorary Golden Chamber plaque to mark their investment with us and the community. We are appreciative of all of our members-- and especially Coors-- a founding member of the Chamber back in 1920!

Congratulations to local history favorite Dinosaur Ridge for their ribbon cutting this week! It marks the grand reopening of the Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center after a big remodel and the installation of the new "Deep Time Detour" Exhibit Hall. It will be open to the public on Memorial Day with new sculptures and animatronics. The reopening coincides with the launch of the new RTD Westracks free weekend shuttle service between the Golden RTD and Morrison. We're thankful that Dino Ridge is a Golden Chamber member!

At this downtown Golden sports bar, you can play pool, watch games (including Sunday NFL!), eat loaded nachos, and drink all kinds of beverages from their friendly and talented bartenders. This is such a cool company with a great origin story! Waterbird began on a small beach in the US Virgin Islands with the idea for a portable, modular umbrella system for outdoor adventurers. The journey continued in Golden with a partnership among Branding Design Company , Superior Wire Harness, the Colorado School of Mines , and the Beck Venture Center . Development became a Senior Capstone project at Mines and won for Best Innovation in 2025! The company is still exploring all the applications for their umbrella systems. Thank you to the Colorado Railroad Museum for hosting this fun group of Chamber members at our monthly V.I.B.E. (Very Important Business Event)! What a thrill to see all of these train cars up close and even get a special tour of the roundhouse. We appreciate your restoration expertise, the history you preserve, the tourist dollars you bring to Golden, and especially the memories you make for families! We're also grateful to all of the Chamber members who came and enjoyed the food, drinks, conversation, and education.
