Tonight’s simmer pot made with tarragon, 2 type of apples, cinnamon sticks, cloves , one orange and a couple lemons.

The tarragon was nearly bad so I pulled off the best leaves, placed a bunch in the oven to dry out then used the rest in my simmer pot . The orange was purchased specifically with this simmer pot in mind, the apples were bruised and on their way to expiration, the other spices I have a abundance of and I make sure to always keep some lemons in our home. IYKYK 🕉👁‍🗨

It’s only a step to my attempting to become more self sufficient and economical while living in a wasteful society but I’ve got to start somewhere if I want my children and their potential future children to have a planet to live on …..and of course there’s always the added benefit of saving money. Plus it’s added knowledge of one of my life’s adventures !
