Hello DeStasher Friends!

This will be Doppelgänger’s 2nd year participating in DeStash. I was accepted many moons back, but a snowstorm kept me from making the drive. Yes, yes, I’m from Wisconsin. I was a super fan of , and had Kamryn’s brand on my radar for years. Once I heard of DeStash I was on board as I think it’s the best way for artists to remove the “stash” from their collections. Being an artist who’s been doing this for 20 years, it’s now become a staple in my business plan. I’ve reinvented myself many times over these years. My “macrame everything” phase. “Hoop earrings” phase. “Big, giant witchy earrings” phase. The list goes on … 🤦‍♀️

Take it off my hands, please! My brain has been pinning so much inspiration from Pinterest, and just frankly brainstorming from all the beautiful color palettes in this world. I will be offering very deep discounts on all previous stock that includes pieces from over the years, as well as current stock, stretch bracelets, and whimsical ornaments. As well, as power hour deals. I don’t want to come home with anything 😂

I’ve also been planning on getting back to my roots with a small line of bath & body products, too! Out with the old, in with the new!

As we say goodbye to 2025, I’d like to thank everyone for their support. All the customers I’ve talked to about my work, and the process it takes. Being an artist can be solitude work, and where the magic happens. Bringing it into the world can be scary, but exciting. I’m so grateful to every person that has made a purchase from me. Recently at one of my shows, a customer was in my booth and they pointed out the bracelet that they bought from me years ago. They were wearing my bracelet and it truly had become their favorite. What an honor that is.

Thank you for Ryan for hosting the best venues and giving me a place to call home. There is a wonderful energy at every single one of Milwaukee Makers Markets. Ryan brings it, and he deserves every single ounce of kudos that comes his way.

Thank you Karmryn for hosting events where people come out in droves to be part of. Her events shut down traffic … literally. Your passion for the artist community is something to admire. Love you, girl!

I’m over the 🌙 to be taking part in this year!!! 10 years old and still growing strong! 💪
I’ll be selling off my old jewelry pieces (earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.) As well as a TON of gemstones, beads, and jewelry supplies. I rebranded in 2024, and a lot of these pieces are more than 5 years old. Just sitting around looking fabulous for someone to go home with. Everything will be DEEPLY discounted to move fast. The BIG 10th Annual, MKE Destash Event will be held on Sunday, March 2nd from 11-3pm . Featuring 115 local artists who have dug through the depths of their studios and are selling off all sorts of unique finds including: imperfect, overstock, out of season, experiments or prototype items AND supplies at amazing prices. Destash also serves as our Annual Patron Appreciation Event where we offer a complimentary bloody mary, mimosa or coffee and a hand decorated thank you tote to the first 400 patrons through the door. $5 admission-kids free. Happy New Year!!! 🎉 I thought I would bring in the new year with a little hello! I hadn’t been very active toward the end of 2024. I can tell you why … lives change, and sometimes you fall out of love with your art. I wouldn’t say “fall out of love,” but more of “we were on a break.” Yes, a little nod to Friends. Which is my comfort binge. Sometimes we examine our art closely and decide that things aren’t going the way we wanted. Or, this is the same thing over and over. How does one get out of a rut. I can tell you if you feel one ounce of passion for it, you will step back, take a deep breath, and dive back in. 2025 is my time to do so. Things have lightened up on the family front here. My depression was at its height. My daughter graduated high school. Which I can say was a very tumultuous journey. Sometimes we can’t see the forest through the trees when we are struggling in the moss. All I can say is she is a very resilient young woman who is now the happiest I’ve seen her in years. Off to college next Fall after a gap year. So, yay! 😀 The whole experience of hitting so many lows dealt to her hardened me. But, it was she who said “I’m moving on and the future awaits.”
So, that’s what I feel I shall do. Rebrand. Grab this year by the horns and take that wonderful ride into 2025 with a new perspective. I’m baaacckkk, babies! I will be applying my little heart out for events, so look for me throughout the year if you haven’t forgotten about me. First up, DeStash in March! Out with the old, in with the new! And, while you’re at it, check out my new logo I’m tossing around 😁 #2025
