Turkey Hunting Tip #1: Hunting on a windy day
- The wind will often died down at day-break and stay calm for an hour or two
- Scout your hunting spots out for signs of flock on leeward sides of hills and ridges
- The high-pitched sound of a Turkey Trumpet from Johnson Game Calls would be more effective to pierce the wind then a diaphragm would be.
