We are deeply grieved to address the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk. This was not a political assassination, but rather a religious assassination. Charlie Kirk has unfortunately become the most prominent Christian martyr in United States history. Charlie Kirk was a man of extraordinary righteousness, a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished family member, a loyal friend, and an inspiring leader. His life was a testimony to faith, courage, and the unwavering pursuit of truth. The sorrow we feel for his widow and his two young children is immense, and our prayers are with them in this unimaginable time. May they find comfort in God’s love and in the legacy that Charlie leaves behind.
Charlie Kirk’s work through Turning Point USA reflected his steadfast commitment to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every day, he sought to give others the opportunity to know God personally and to live according to His Word. His focus was not on personal gain or worldly recognition, but on guiding others toward righteousness and equipping them to stand firm in faith. Through his teachings, mentorship, and leadership, he inspired countless students, young leaders, and families to embrace Christian principles and to take their faith seriously.
We are proud of our current President and Vice President who have demonstrated such great support for Charlie Kirk, his family, and his organization. Their recognition highlights the significance of his work and the impact he had on this nation. This support also serves as a reminder that faith-driven leadership can be a force for good, shaping lives and strengthening the moral foundation of our country and the world.
In the face of such a tragedy, we urge all readers to seek a local Christian, Bible-believing church and, if they are in school, to find or start a local Turning Point USA chapter. Participating in these communities allows individuals to continue the work that Charlie Kirk devoted his life to — spreading the gospel, fostering leadership, and encouraging moral courage in everyday life.
As Ephesians 6 reminds us, we are engaged in a spiritual war, and we must put on the full armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness to share the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). In this loss, we are called to stand firm, to uphold truth, and to honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy by living courageously, faithfully, and with unwavering devotion to God.
