This class is for the true beginner - Learn how to stand, how to install beads, how to stitch, theory of head shape. (U shaped sections but not too deep a U for each head- why?) We will explain how to assess hair growth pattern, how to determine the right type of hair for the client, how many wefts to put on each row. Day 1
AM: We will cover theory, beads (types and where to buy them), choosing the right color and why color matters, sizes, positioning of the beads and body position. We will be installing one row with one weft only until you are comfortable then we will progress to putting two wefts on the row. We will teach the difference with our stitching method and how and why we use two needles instead of one. PM: You will shadow me as I do a new install on a live model, and I will answer all questions. Day 2
AM: We will begin the day by installing row 2 with 4 wefts and row 3 with 3 wefts and discuss real life scenarios regarding when and why to use this patterning and when to change it up for the benefit of the client. We will discuss how to assess how much hair to SAFELY install and why and where. We will do an Up-lift Service to tighten an existing installation, learn when and why to perform an Up-Lift Service and how to trouble shoot issues that may arise. We will then do a removal and reinstall if there is time. PM: If class is done in my salon, you will shadow me as I do 2 up-lift services. If class is done at a remote location with more than one student, we can use this time to practice on one another. Recap: After models leave we will discuss timing between Up-lift appointments, homecare maintenance, take home talker for client, when to dropout and reinstall, answer any other questions, dinner. Included: Mannequin, stand, practice hair (can be used on clients), clips, rat tail comb, beads, bead crimper/remover, thread, needles, info where to purchase items. For those with some experience in beaded rows but need more confidence in laying down rows, stitching, handling hand tied wefts, etc. This can be a 1 Or 2 day class. The first day being teaching and learning hands on, the second being a shadow day only. Day 1
In this class we get right into laying down rows and speaking to why I believe this way is better than others where beads are yanked up to the scalp, waterfall, cross bead, over direction, etc. We discuss the reasoning and theory behind the way we execute the stitching vs. the more traditional stitching methods. If you have been doing beaded row extensions for a while you have a stitch that just "feels right" to you... and I don't want to take that away from you... while I will teach you this method and explain where the needle MUST go and where the thread MUST lie for this method to work properly, I leave you the freedom to integrate what you are comfortable with. (I.E., single thread vs. doubled thread). We will discuss how many rows is typical with this method, where the rows lie and how many wefts per row is acceptable vs. the nature of the bio growing hair. We will discuss how to assess what is appropriate and safe vs what looks great for a photo shoot. If this is a group class everyone will put at least one row in another student. If this is a 1-on-1 class, we will have a model for full install. Have one model for Up-Lift Service for either group or 1-on-1. We will learn how to color the extensions and remove the fear. We can even color the extensions for installation on model or student. Day 2
Shadow day is free of charge. If class is done in my salon students can shadow me while I do clients. If class is done at a remote salon, I can shadow students while they take a client/model to practice this method.

$1000 for 1-on-1 class

This class is designed for the experienced extensionist looking for a new and better way that makes sense but who doesn’t want to sit through AND PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR yet ANOTHER refresher. Don’t spend another minute or extra dollar going over the same old same old. You know how to install a bead, lay down a row and stitch a weft. You’ve done it a hundred different ways. You are confident and comfortable handling hand tied wefts. Tell me which you have done, what you like and what you don’t. I’ll show you how I do it. Where my needle goes, where my thread ends up and why it’s so easy to Up-Lift between installs. Why clients can go 2-4 months between takedown and reinstall services. Now you do it. I’ll answer your questions. Fill in the gaps. I don’t need to change your stitching pattern, just where the stitch goes... It works for you. I don’t need to show you how to load a beading tool. I don’t need to show you how to properly close a bead. You do that all day long. I don’t need to show you how to color your wefts. I WILL show you a different way to place your beads. I’ll show you my stitch. I’ll show you an Up-Lift Service. I’ll show you how less can be more. 2-4 hrs.

$500 online or $800 in person. Student can provide own mannequin head and tools.
