A new charm at the bench this week, inspired by Tillie Pierce.

Tillie was a young Gettysburg girl during the battle of 1863. Her memories—later written in her own words—offer one of the most personal glimpses into what the town experienced.

Working on this small piece, I kept thinking about the courage it must have taken for such a young girl to witness those events and later share her story.

A little charm, handmade here in Gettysburg, remembering Tillie.
