I never feel as awkward as I do when someone asks me what is it that I make… I’d like to say that overtime I’ve gotten better at answering this question, but, honestly, every time I’m asked it I feel like I’m fumbling to find my words.

Drawing on my iPad started out as a way to destress while breast pumping. My first kiddo had a cows milk allergy and horrible latch, so for over a year I exclusively pumped (which if you’re unfamiliar is around 30 min of your day 5-6x a day during which period you’re attached to a machine afraid to bend over or else milk will spill) doodling has become an outlet at night to distress, a way to express my thoughts and emotions after a long day, and, most importantly, the way I like to add a little sunlight into this world.
