Jaded Jewelry These are the creations of The Infamous Radical Ray York. I'm primarily a carver/sculptor these days, working in bone, horn, ivory, exotic woods, etc.

I still thoughtfully craft pieces out of ALL NATURAL GEM STONES using unique theories on color, sensation and perception, philosophy, karma and beauty.

I'm back in business. Making new things. Slowly getting back into the rythym of creating. Still selling mostly at the concert venues. Keeping it small so I can keep healing. Carving is coming. Probably sooner than I'll be ready. But already the holiday season is building interest and requests for custom work. I hope I can keep up. Oh, and I live in Kerrville. But my phone won't let me change the profile data. And my computer bravely jumped in front of a message from Thor and got fried and kinda sploded. So it may be wrong data for a while. The phone number is still good.

I've been off of jewelry crafting for a while, due to recovery time for my back. Now, though, I am beginning to string up pieces for the coming season. As my back grows stronger, and the weather cooler, I'll start carving pendants again. Got a lot of custom orders to catch up on. And I'll be beginning to carve much larger pieces for shelf and table display, from bookends and letter openers to freeform art and maybe even hobbit homes. But unless somebody takes over posting pics and events, I'm afraid my scattered brain cells (all three still working) are likely to keep posting as poorly as I have been. I still haven't bought a camera, or an upgrade to my flip-phone. Yep. Neanderthal lives. I will try. I'm just so awful with technology and so incredibly adept at resisting change. It's a wonder I survive. You can find me at most all of Tom Gillam's Kosmik Messengers concerts. And I promise to post which art galleries I'll be selling my larger carvings and pendant lines to. I do not expect to do any more jewelry shows or art festivals unless something major changes. My health is improving, and my pain receeding, mobility increasing. But only with much hard work and avoiding long periods of standing and no carrying of heavy boxes. Jewelry is heavy in any quantity. So, small short set-ups only, and working thru galleries. I'm still kicking. And still in business. Mostly just selling with the band souvenirs at the gigs. But piecing equipment together and prepping to start carving, wrapping and general production soon. Holler w a msg if ya need anywhatevers in the tween-times. ;-)

I'm still carving. Moving over xmas holidays. Once settled, with my computer put back together, I'll start posting up new creations. And hand painted t-shirt designs too.

Been ill most of the winter. But I am recovering slowly. Just started carving again. A whole new lineup of ideas and designs are taking shape in preparation of the coming tourist season. Be seeing you back out there soon.

I'm changing up my business a bit. Adding new locations to sell at. I'll be back at Billy's, River Road Icehouse and The Phoenix very soon. They're my favorites, feel like home. It's just time to expand my customer base a bit. I also felt like I was saturating the market at the same spots too often. So, if any of you have some good places for me to try, where you think both the management and the customers will respond favorably, let me know about them and whom to contact about setting it up. Especially if you're a musician friend who is playing there. Thanks everyone for your support of my creations. I'm busy making lots of brand new cool jewelry and carving a lot of new pieces. I've got new moons, feathers and goddesses almost finished. And plans for Viking hammers and axes. Just completed a bunch of Celtic crosses, and have plans for many more Celtic pieces soon.
