Thanks to all my great customers at Artsfest in Springfield, we came home with empty containers and I’m cutting glass like crazy to create lots of pretty things for Art In The Park and Smoky Hill River Festival, both coming up in June.

This is a design I worked on off and on since our 2009 stay in Venice. Our beautiful little room (with some seriously slanting floors 😁) was in the 19th-century Hotel Galleria right on the Grand Canal, and the view was spectacular.

January is my month for having fun with bigger ideas. I loved this artwork of a New Orleans shotgun house so much that I worked up a design. Almost 450 pieces. 😬 Next step is choosing glass. Stay tuned! And happy new year!
