Fareground Food Hall is the best place for dinner and happy hour in Austin, Texas! 🌮

This hidden gem is filled with a variety of cuisines, making it easy for everyone to order something they love. 🍽️

Plus, their weekday happy hour (3 PM to 7 PM) is hard to beat! I loved the prickly pear margarita. It packed a punch and was on draft. 🍹

Other happy hour specials include:

We might have been cold, but at least we were cold at the beach. 🏝️ ❄️

In all realness, this was one of my husband’s first weekends to visit Galveston since we moved, so we made the best of our time with what was open and hanging out with friends.

We actually planned on leaving Sunday but the weather had other plans. Back home the roads were already bad so we had to stay an extra day on the island (darn).

Driving Monday was still pretty scary. Unfortunately healthcare doesn’t care. Thankfully we made it back safely taking the scenic route.

Next up…MARDI GRAS! See ya soon GTX. 💜💚💛
