Investigators with the Tecumseh, MI police department are investigating the burglary and arson of Tecumseh Coins which occurred during the early morning hours of April 8, 2018. An Unknown number of suspects entered the building and cut open five safes with an unknown type of cutting torch.

"The NCNA Board of Directors is saddened to learn that Barry Ciociola, our good friend and past president, succumbed to his battle with cancer on Wednesday October 17.
As many of you had heard, Barry was was diagnosed in early August and made the decision to fight it with aggressive treatments at the hospital in Chapel Hill.

Those that knew Barry, know what a fighter he really was in life, as he touched so many of our lives in the numismatic community.
We look to share details for funeral/memorial service arrangements soon, and will be looking for ways in which to remember Barry and his many contributions to the hobby that we all love.

The family has also expressed many thanks to everyone for their show of support and love via cards, visits, and prayers over the last two months. Please keep Barry's family in your prayers as they go through this time of personal loss and grief."

Brad Ciociola shared the visitation and funeral arrangements for Barry this evening.
Visitation is planned for Monday evening 6-8:00 PM at Clements Funeral Home in Durham
The funeral service is planned for 2:00 PM at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Durham.
