Clean your watch.

When was the last time you had your watch cleaned/sanitized? Take a close look at the underside of your watch and/or in between the links. If it’s got “gunk” then you might want to think about cleaning it. That gunk carries bacteria. 🦠

We take apart the band and soak it overnight in a heated, ultrasonic cleaner. We hand clean the case. Then everything is reassembled and ready to wear again!

Check on your elderly parents or friends in particular - we see the most severe cases in the elderly because they can’t see very well and yet they’re the most susceptible to illness.

Watch Tip of the Day:

Do not leave your watch battery in your watch for more than 4-5 years because you risk it leaking acid and corroding the movement.

Batteries tend to last 2-3 years anyways (depending on the quality of the movement and age of the watch) but some do last longer. Replace or remove the battery even if it’s still running.

Repairing a corroded movement will require a full overhaul and replacement of the mechanism. It usually will cost at least 10 times more than just replacing the battery.
