I've developed this FB Page to show you things I create, then turn them into wearable pieces of art in the form of jewelry! It's art, it's history, and it has a story! My pieces become heirlooms that transcend time. They can capture stories and encapsulate them in metals. I strive to protect the resources from which my materials are made (many of my creations are recycled metal) and the well being
of those who work with them, i.e. I begin with recycled metals and transition them into art forms. One of my favorite metals is copper. This metal is warm and inviting and seems to have a life force of its own. It interacts so beautifully with the light as it changes during the day. I especially like to treat the backgrounds with fire which yields a myriad of color. Still experimenting with copper, I recently started delving into heavier gauges and creating substantial pendants and bracelets. Where ever this leads, Imsure to find even more beauty in this earth metal! I find inspiration in my surroundings which I love to translate in my artworks. It's my hope that others will also enjoy my translations!
