💚🤎 A little camouflage, a whole lot of character.

This Willow Creek Porcelain Jasper has all the earthy colors my “Camo” girls love—olive green, rich browns, warm tan, and creamy veins that make every angle a little different.

Sourced from the Eagle, Idaho area, Willow Creek Jasper is a distinctive stone known for its porcelain-like appearance and one-of-a-kind natural patterns. Set in an ornate sterling silver band, this size 9 ring was made for someone who appreciates rugged beauty with a touch of silver artistry.

And this one has found its person! ❤️ SOLD

Thank you for giving this special stone a new home!

A fossil with a little iridescent magic. ✨

This ammonite ring pairs a warm, earthy spiral with mother-of-pearl inlay that catches the light in soft flashes of blue, pink, and white. Set in sterling silver with a richly textured band, it brings together ancient natural history and handcrafted detail.

A little color, a little texture, and patterns that nature created. 🌊

I’m always drawn to stones with bands of color, unexpected markings, and earthy details. Paired with sterling silver, each piece has its own personality.

Which piece catches your eye first? 💙

Blue Hemimorphite

This beautiful blue mineral comes from China and forms in the weathered parts of zinc deposits. Here’s a fun fact: its name comes from the unusual shape of its crystals, which can have differently shaped ends!

Set in textured sterling silver with rope detailing, this size 7 ring brings a little geology into everyday jewelry.

Blue Moon turquoise comes from Nevada’s Candelaria Hills, in the Royston area near Tonopah. It ranges from light sky blue to deeper blue, often with dark brown or black matrix. Some stones feature a striking spiderweb pattern that makes each one unique.

I love seeing how those natural colors and patterns come to life when a stone is cut and set in sterling silver. The right stone has a character all its own, and that’s what makes turquoise jewelry so special to me. 💙

Here are some of my Blue Moon finds and jewelry pieces. Which one catches your eye?

Know Your Stones: Blue Moon Turquoise

I’ve always enjoyed learning about the places that produce the turquoise I work with. Blue Moon has an interesting story, and I love sharing a little of that with you.

This turquoise comes from Nevada’s Candelaria Hills, in the Royston area near Tonopah. Its colors range from pale sky blue to deeper blue, often with dark brown or black matrix. Some material has intricate web-like patterns, while other pieces have broader, more dramatic areas of color.

When I’m choosing a cabochon for a piece of sterling silver jewelry, I look at how its colors and patterns work together and how I can bring out those details in the finished design. That’s one of the most enjoyable parts of being a metalsmith.

Here are some of my Blue Moon finds and the jewelry I’ve made with this Nevada turquoise. 💙

Have you worked with or collected Blue Moon turquoise before?
