After months of designing, matching sapphires, and hours or labor, this beautiful oval sapphire ring is finished. Inspired by the art deco movement of the 1920s and 30s, rich 18k gold brings out the natural hue of the sapphires. Despite gold not being traditional in art deco, we don't think we would have done it any other way.

Laying milgrain (the tiny shiny beads) on metal one at a time is tedious work, but the results are worth the effort. We're almost the the end of our journey with this magnificent piece and we don't know if we're excited or sad to see it leave!
