Apparently, big jewelry is back. I didn’t realize we’d stopped wearing it! 😂

If you love a fabulous statement necklace, a stack of bracelets, or a piece of jewelry that makes the whole outfit, you already know what we’re talking about.

Johnny and I have always believed that personal style is more interesting than following the rules.

Apparently, selling the necklace was the easy part! 😂

Our customer fell in love with the Bellamy necklace, bought it, and then asked if I could take the entire thing apart and restring it with silk, hand-knotting every bead.

And I was happy to say yes!

That’s one of the things I enjoy most about J. Parker. Getting to know you, hearing your ideas, and sometimes doing something a little unexpected to make a piece just right for you.

So here’s your invitation. If you’ve had your eye on something on our website but wish we could change a little something, reach out.

Well, I may have just upset a few S*x and the City fans!

I said Carrie Bradshaw wore some terrible outfits, and I’m standing by it.

But here’s the thing. Even when she got it wrong, she was unforgettable.

I’ve always believed there’s a big difference between being well dressed and having personal style. And Carrie understood something that a lot of people miss.

Playing it safe might make you look perfectly put together. But it doesn’t necessarily make you memorable.

That’s part of what Johnny and I love about J. Parker. Those unexpected combinations that make you stop and take another look.

And listen, I’m from Pilot Oak, Kentucky. Some folks might question what I know about fashion.

But I’ve got a few opinions about style!

You know what I miss most about selling jewelry in person?

Watching someone pick up a piece, turn it toward the light, and discover a detail they hadn’t noticed before.

You just can’t get all of that from a photograph.

I’ve never understood why we save some of our favorite jewelry for occasions that hardly ever come around.

If you love something, why not enjoy wearing it?

Can I tell you something?

You don’t have to have it all together to be a woman of faith.

You can worry about your children. You can feel overwhelmed. You can have nights when you cry and mornings when you’re not sure how you’re going to face another day.

And you can still have faith.
