Dear Birdies,
It is with regret that I inform you that I will be shutting down this page as well as my Etsy shop. There are a number of factors involved---the first of which is I am very pregnant with our fifth child and feel a need to spend these last few weeks preparing mentally and physically for our home birth and delivery of our special boy.
I have very much enjoyed getting to know all of your and keeping you inspired throughout the day. At this time, I really need to focus on inspiring and taking care of my own family---and myself.
I began hand stamping as an outlet of my creative energy---one I have yet to regret. To hit bits of metal with a hammer was very satisfying. The ability to take an ordinary piece of metal and hit it astonishingly hard with a hammer was cleansing and an appropriate way to release my anger toward the effects of my husband's military career on his health. What made it even better was the ability to bless others with my creations---to freely give them away, asking nothing in return.
The time has come for me to take an extended hiatus, much as it pains me to say so long. Thank you for allowing me to get to know you, to serve you and to pray for you these past two years. It has been wonderful.
