The Springfield 177 features a warm honey-gold dial accented by bold black Arabic numerals and elegant blued open-circle hands that give the watch a refined early twentieth-century character. A recessed sub-seconds register maintains the proportions of the original pocket watch design while allowing the dial’s natural aging and coloration to remain the focal point.
Inside, a 17-jewel Illinois movement manufactured in 1921 showcases striped finishing, polished gearing, and ruby jewel settings through the exhibition caseback. Housed in Vortic’s machined stainless steel V3 case and paired with a black Cordovan leather strap, the Springfield 177 combines mechanical craftsmanship with understated visual character earned over more than a century.
