IMPORTANT! Rescheduled dates for Concord/Walnut Creek Bead & Design Show. NEW DATES: July 17-19, 2020.
The reason for the change is due to the announcement today from the California Department of Public Health and Contra Costa Health Services to postpone large gatherings of over 50 people because of the Novel Coronavirus (CORVID-19).

Thank you for all your emails/texts of concern. We are safe and the mandatory evacuation for Forestville was lifted yesterday. We still have no power as of Oct 30 12noon. Our home sustained minor damage with broken lights on our deck due to many limbs falling. We had 6+ 20-30 limbs (all green and live) fall on our deck/stairs and around our house plus piles and piles of branches/leaves debris everywhere. Given the winds were 103 mph we are happy that we were not here. Our daughters power was restored yesterday in Penngrove so we are recharging everything and having fun playing with the grandkids while we await power restoration at our home.

Hi All - We are safe. Our home is in mandatory evacuation. Today is our last day of the Concord Bead & Design show at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Concord where we are staying. We are told the show will continue to have power as it is on the same grid as the Concord airport which is adjacent to the hotel.

Rain Rain go away.... We’ve been busy packing today for the Marin Show so we could stay on other side of the flooded area tonight but it’s too late. Tim went to check on the road at 9am and River Road (our only way out) is 5 ft underwater (yes that’s a boat parked in the water). It is due to crest tonight at 10pm. Not sure if it will go down fast enough for us to get out to set up and be at the show. We often loose power with flooding so I keep you posted as I am able. 😟
