I have found neutral and versatile designs that can be worn with ease, feel most natural to create! (They also tend to sell the best with both our stores and our direct customers 😉)

This color palette has really been a grounding combination of colors that I return to again and again over the years. Natural, lighter turquoise hues paired with cream and earth tones are a go-to in my closet, and therefore, I am partial to this new earthy grouping!

Over the next couple of weeks, I will reflect on what 20 years of this work have taught me, and there are several angles and vantage points to consider…

What I have gleaned from 20 years of reflection influences each and every design I sit down and create. Although each collection often begins from a new place of inspiration (materials, a new design idea, colorful textiles, or landscape), my creative process is similar. I consider sales, cost of materials, rarity of material, colorway, and simplicity/complexity/versatility of each new piece. I'm always looking for patterns to guide and inform design.

Before I share what I think, I want to ask you: What designs do you return to again and again? Is it the colorway or the ease/comfort of the jewelry you wear?

What causes you to say 'yes, I just have to have that piece!' ? Is it the overall aesthetic, is it price and affordability, or maybe it’s the rarity of what you see? Please share your thoughts!

Our latest Storyteller Kimono inspired a new collection coming this fall, but we wanted our input on the name. Should this line match the kimono name of Storyteller, or do you think these handmade gemstone pieces deserve a unique name of their own?

Love it

This is the perfect necklace for my lifestyle. I’m retired so I wear sweats and t-shirt or jeans and t-shirts most of the time. The majority of my Anne Vaughan jewelry is a little too dressy for how I dress everyday but this silver necklace can be worn with anything, dressy or jeans and t-shirts, I love it as well as all my Anne Vaughan jewlery.
