I am in love with these new cabochons made with colorful shards of glass. I won't be able to use them, though, until after our return from Estes Park and the Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival, along with the Estes Park Fine Arts Festival.

In a little over a week, we leave for our annual Estes Park getaway! We will be off visiting family and friends, getting out of the Texas heat, and, of course, having some fun at the Estes Park Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival (September 5th to 7th) and the Estes Park Fine Arts Festival (September 19th and 20th)!

This new Dutch Blue beauty will be headed to Colorado along with many other new designs. If you're in the area, stop by for a visit and enjoy the music, food, art, and fun happening in Estes Park.

Creating multiple beads on one mandrel is a great way to get matching bead sizes for earrings.

Before a piece of my jewelry is finished, there are about 16 steps it goes through to get to a final piece of jewelry. Some go through more; some less.

I don't think about them much; most have become automatic, but it has taken time- I would say years to work at becoming proficient, and I'm not done learning yet!
