Well… sometimes plans change! 😊

Because our show-hauling Suburban is in the shop and rain is moving into the Hill Country this weekend, I’ve made the decision to not attend the Texas Hill Country Art & Wine Festival.

The silver lining? All the new jewelry collections will be heading to my website next week instead!

Plus… keep an eye out for a little surprise later this weekend. ❤️

Here is the necklace from the New Blue Moon Collections, which is heading to Boerne with me for next weekend's Hill Country Art and Wine Festival, May 22nd and 23rd!

Some new techniques were used in the piece from some wonderful classes I enjoyed at The Makery Arts in Bulverde. If you are looking up your jewelry making skills or just learn a bit more about jewelry making, The Makery can help you. They have both online and in-person classes. Fun stuff!

The Summertime Sunshine Collection is back and headed to the Texas Hill Country Art and Wine Festival coming Friday evening, May 22nd, and Saturday, May 23rd.

Plus, Summertime Sunshine is not the only new collection I will have with me. The New Blue Moon Collection will be there along with a wonderful variety of my new jewelry pieces.

There is so much enjoyment in the process. I spent an afternoon working on hollow-form elements for a bracelet and earrings. Soldering, sawing, finishing; although there can be challenges, figuring it all out can be very satisfying!

my mom came to the U.S. on a ship from the Netherlands. She came after suffering through WW2, not speaking English in a new country, with hope and optimism. She was strong-willed, and my parents had a wonderful life here.

I wanted to share this brief story with you because, even though she is no longer here to celebrate, her memory is!

This Mother's Day, celebrate all of the wonderful mothers around you, whether they be daughters, aunts, sisters, or friends. They are all worth celebrating.
