Happy Pride!!!
Love is love and we have so many things to share with you!
First up, a little update. You may have seen on our socials that the shop was closed unexpectedly for a few days in mid May. Well....on Tuesday May 12th, i (Toni) had a Trans Ischemic Attack or Mini Stroke. I was admitted to the hospital after losing a spot of vision in my right eye and some slurring/confusion/inability to get thoughts out, which for anyone who knows me knows that isn't a problem for me-LOL! Fortunately, all imaging has come back negative and I was discharged the next day. But, I am still doing some follow up appts and testing to try to find out the cause, which unfortunately, I may never. I am very happy it was not worse and after about some meds and 6 hours, all was normal, but it was still terrifying and has triggered a lot of my anxiety to flare up. Enough of that downer s**t though....onto happier things!!!
Okay, it is a PACKED month, not only for us, but for Stangl. This Sunday June 7th, Stangl Karmafest returns, and for the first time ever, we are combining the psychic fair with the event! It will be a day full of wellness, workshops, vendors, food, drinks, music and so much more and we highly recommend you attend!!! If you would like to have a reading with any of our 9 talented readers, I HIGHLY recommend that you prebook the session. While we normally have been able to accomodate walk-ups, with the added foot traffic from this event, I am doubtful that will be the case and I think, especially since Sunday is supposed to be gorgeous, our readers will be slammed!!! Nikki will also be teaching a special 1 hour tea leaf reading workshop from 1 to 2pm. Readings and tea leaf can be booked directly from our site. Singing Bowl Meditation is back on Friday June 12th at 7pm and Intuition is Wednesday June 24th at 7pm. These are the only two workshops in the store this month because of everything else happening on Stangl this month!
Sat June 13th, the Flemington Car Show comes to Stangl from 5-8pm.
Sun June 14th, it's our 250th Anniversary celebration: Stomp N Sew. It's our take on the 250, from the experience of the settlers during that time.
Thurs June 18th, Sip N Stroll is back on Stangl
Fri June 19th-this one is huge. It's our FIFA Watch Party for the USA vs Australia!!! This is going to be a massive event. Tickets are $10, kids 10 and under free, but you MUST have a ticket to attend. Sat June 20th-The Stangl Moon Market is back and it's our PRIDE edition. Join us for great vendors, DJ Lawless spinning tunes, drinks, small biz shopping and other surprises!
Sun June 28th-Kidchella! We will be a featured vendor at Kidchella at Chirp Workshop. Tickets are required for this event and it is sold out!
