RMHenry Jewelry This page features unique pieces created by me Ravis Henry, as well as informative information on Markets I'll be attending current and in the upcoming future.

Ya'at'eeh and Welcome to my page. My name is Ravis McQuade Henry, Dine/Navajo Jeweler and Silversmith. I belong to the Kinyaa'aanii (Towering House) Clan and born for the Ma'iideshgiizhnii (Coyote Pass-Jemez) Clan. My grandfather's are of the Ashiihi (Salt People) Clan and the Ta'neeszahnii (Tangle People) Clan. I originally come from Alamo, NM but was born and raised mostly in Chinle and Canyon d

e Chelly. family has homesteads and corn fields that we still occupy in the canyon and along the rim of the beautiful and sacred place we call Tseyi'. I come from a family of artisans. My grandmothers are weavers, my mother creates beautiful jewelry with beads, my father and many grandfathers were all Silversmiths, and some of my family members are painters and potters as well. Since I was young, I followed in my family's tradition of using my hands to create something beautiful, and I have since excelled and have become a silversmith myself. I used to watch my grandfathers work silver, but never sat down with them to learn directly from them. I have since lost many of them, and decided a little too late to carry on the silversmithing art. Much of my work has been trial and error, learning from mistakes and going off of memory from when I would watch my grandfathers. After several years, I have now master part of the art, and I continue to learn and grow with my work. I created this page to share my work and provide an avenue for sales of my jewelry. I also intend to not only share my work, but to promote and share the works of many other family members and good friends from the Canyon de Chelly Area and greater Navajo Nation. You'll be able to see a variety of work from Sterling Silver Jewelry to Pottery, Weavings, and so much more. All the work I post will be handmade and authentic to the Navajo Nation and other Native American Tribes. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to send a message if you have any questions pertaining to my work, other artists and their works, or about the culture and history of Canyon de Chelly. Ahxehee'
