Many don’t know but I also manage River Junction Bar & Restaurant. I make custom jewelry and when I heard the theatre was doing a silent auction I knew I had to make a piece for them. Pictures do not do it justice, definitely an eye catcher!
We need your help to keep a roof over our heads—literally.
Our beloved little theater guild has been a home for local talent, creative storytelling, and unforgettable community experiences for almost 40 years. But now, we’re facing a critical challenge: 🚩our aging building needs a new roof, and without it, we’ll be forced to close our doors.🚩
The cost? At least $36,000.
The deadline? Fast approaching.
The reason? Our insurance company has made it clear: without a new roof, we can no longer be insured—and that would mean the end of our productions, our programs, and our presence in this community.
But we believe in the magic of this place—and in the people who fill it with laughter, music, mystery, and meaning.
Our first major fundraising event is Blackwood Manor's Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, a dark and delightful night of suspense and surprises. It sold out three weeks in advance—proof that our community values the stage we’ve built together.
At the heart of the evening is our Silent Auction, open both online and in person.

Bidding starts Wednesday and closes Saturday night, near the end ⁴of our dinner. ⭐️You don’t need a ticket to participate in the auction—⭐️everyone is welcome to bid and support the cause. You can peruse the items from now until the end of the auction by selecting "Auction" (next to "Overview" at the top of the page at the link provided).
Anything we raise throughout this campaign, beyond the roof fund, will go toward future building repairs and improvements, ensuring Crossroads Theatre Guild remains a vibrant, creative space for generations to come.
And looking ahead... we're dreaming even bigger. Once the roof is secure, we’re exploring the idea of opening up our stage on weekends for live bands, open mic nights, movie screenings, comedy shows, youth showcases, and more. Nothing is set in stone just yet—but the possibilities are exciting, and we’d love to see this space become a year-round creative hub for the whole community.
This isn’t just about a building—it’s about preserving the stories we tell, the voices we uplift, and the joy we create together.
Help us save our stage.
