Just a reminder…
✅if you have a gift certificate to please use it up by Saturday 1/28/23

✅if you want any of your consigned items back, come today or tomorrow

✅Accounts with over $40 will have checks mailed after 2/8/23.

✅Accounts with under $40 can be used as store credit or cash out

✅Big clothing sale starts Thursday at 10am. All clothing and shoes are $2 any color tag, plus home decor items are half off (pictures, glassware, bedding, pillows, dishes, and lamps)

✅hours this week are Wednesday and Thursday 10-5, Friday 10-4, Saturday 10-2.

Just a reminder if you would like to pick up your consigned items, this is the week to do it!!

I’ll be open Wednesday and Thursday 10-5, Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-2.

The big clothing sale is Thursday through Saturday, all clothing and shoes will be $2 and household and home decor items will be half off.

The sale starts on THURSDAY at 10 am!!

If you have a balance of $40 or less on your account you may use as store credit or cash out, and once you cash out your account will be closed, if it is over $40 you will have a check mailed to you after the first week of February.

I will have a form for you to fill out with your address information to have a check mailed. I will not be writing out checks this week during the sale because if you have sales you will have more money on account and I do not want to write 2 checks for the same account. 😊

Thanks for your cooperation and patience this week as I wrap up accounts, hold the sale, finish packing my stuff up and transition to new owner by Saturday afternoon!!

Pile of Christmas or a bag to drop at the consignment store, same thing! Just a reminder I am not taking any consignments right now as the last day for Urban Exchange will be Saturday January 28th.

Working on some fresh weirds for the shop. Also wanted to ask anyone who is currently consigning with Shawn or anyone who wants to consign with me in the future to please private message me with your name, address, phone and email so I can get your info into the new software to save time when you first come in. I will have contracts and also instructions on how to access your inventory and balance when you come into the store, anytime after February 9th. I have decided to close that first week to do some minor renovations and reorganization. Thank you!!

Information about accounts at Urban Exchange…Long post….

I have a had a few inquiries about accounts this week, here is some helpful Info…

If you have a small balance on account (under $40) I can cash you out or use as store credit

If you have a larger balance, (over $40) I would like to write ONE check for the balance on your account, I am still open this week and next week, so I anticipate having sales and more money would be in your account.

If you would like to close your account this week and take any items you have here, I will write you a check and you can consider your account closed and the check is the final payment.

So if you are a regular consignor and you know you have a balance on your account, I would prefer to write one check to close your account after my final day open on 1/28.

You can email me after 2/1 and I will be going through all the accounts and adding up tags and closing out and mailing checks to anyone I owe money to.

Please keep in mind I have over 600 consignor accounts (envelopes) to go through. Some have 50 cents others have several hundred dollars, I will do my best to get through them as quickly as possible.

I will leave a form at Weirdo Thrift for you to ask for a check or you can email me at [email protected] and send me your address to mail checks, I have had the store for almost 10 years and not all my records for address info will be correct.

I will not be just writing out 600 checks and leaving then for pick up, I will write checks and mail them at your request.

This is kinda an overwhelming task and please rest assured If I owe you money you will get a check, I live here in town and I am not going anywhere.

I would like to close accounts by March 15th and have all money paid out. So if I do not hear from you by March 15, I will consider your account closed. I will do my best to get all accounts cleared out as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as I get the last couple weeks wrapped up here!!

I anticipate next weeks clothing sale to be very busy, I do not want to write checks out while I have lines of people waiting to check out, if you would like to use any balance as store credit next week that is fine, but checks will be mailed after the store closes.

All the Christmas decor has been packed up! The store feels so empty, but it feels good to have some new things to look at!! I’ve been rearranging and cleaning the past couple days!!

Welcome 2023! Some important info:

✅I’m packing up the holiday and Christmas decor this week, if you want your holiday or Christmas items back please come today or tomorrow, otherwise it will be donated.

✅if you want your consigned clothing or items back, Please pick up your items by 1/25. If you do not pick up your items they will roll over to the new owner, the store will continue to be a thrift/consignment store.
