Howdy!

Hope you're having an awesome start to Q4. As you recall, an email went out on August 11th in regards to me stepping down, and passing the torch of ownership - and why. But to recap, my family and I are relocating to the Tampa/Sarasota area in support of our daughters adventure of going to the Olympics in 2024. I've already been living in FL getting things in motion for my family. In addition, I felt the transition was necessary so that DSP could have 100% energy dedicated to continue growth and provide the best experience for our clients.

However, the transition did not go according to plan and came to the conclusion that it was not a fit for the new owners. This was a mutual decision.

That being said, it's with a heavy heart that I have to announce that I'm closing the doors of DSP. I understand this puts all our active clients in a tough spot, especially as Q4 begins, but unfortunately I have no other choice. We're asking all our clients to move their products out of DSP as soon as possible, either to Amazon, Walmart, or to another facility. We're giving clients till November 15th to have this accomplished. After December 1st, any inventory left in the facility will be considered abandoned and be disposed of accordingly.

Howdy!

I have some important news I want to share with you. Those that are connected with me personally, know that our youngest daughter is a competitive swimmer and is ranked nationally and in arms reaching of meeting requirements for Olympic Trails. An abrupt opportunity came for her to help meet her goal of swimming on the 2024 Olympics. However, we would need to relocate to the Tampa, FL area and asap. In addition, as lot of you know, I have my hands in a lot of other things, and as a result, DSP hasn’t been getting the attention that it needed.

That being said, I wanted to announce, that effective immediately I am stepping down as President of DSP and passing the torch and ownership to someone who I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, will give the attention that DSP deserves to bring it to the next level. This person is Paul Blount of Hartford, AL. Paul brings a wealth of knowledge & experience in business/warehouse management that will serve DSP very well. Paul also serves as councilman for the City Council for City of Hartford. I cannot verbalize enough just how thrilled I am in passing the torch to Paul, and see how DSP and its client base will benefit.

It’s a bitter/sweet moment for me, as most business owners & entrepreneurs can understand, and it’s been a true honor to serve you all over the last two years and loved getting to know everyone that we have a connection with.
This decision did not come easy, but I feel it was the right direction for me and DSP.

There will be a transition period of where I’ll still be involved until Paul has the controls completely. I appreciate your support of Paul in advance and I know you’ll show him the same love you’ve shown me over the years. As with any change of ownership, changes are expected. That being said, please stay tuned, as more communication will be given on upcoming changes within DSP in going forward in the coming days/weeks.

Howdy!

Hope everyone had an awesome summer and starting to enjoy those back-to-school sales! I don’t know about you, but this summer flew by! I wanted to send everyone an email update/reminder. Just as a reminder, as of 08/02; we are no longer servicing arbitrage clients that are sending less than 2,000 units a month. This does NOT apply to Private Label and Wholesale businesses. I repeat – this does NOT apply to Private Label and/or Wholesale businesses. However, if you’re an arbitrage seller, and only use UPCs – please reach to me, as we’re testing a process that may allow us to serve lower volume arbitrage sellers.

With the announcement we made, over the course of the last 4 weeks, we have been slammed with packages. Nearly 4,100% more than our typical for what's been delivered on a daily basis. In addition, our staffing has been reduced due to illness. Thankfully, these setbacks are temporary and we’re working diligently to get caught up. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I did want to share this to help explain why we’re so backlogged.

I’ll be sharing more news/updates in the coming days.

Hope everyone is having an awesome summer so far! We are so grateful for your business (past and present). Unfortunately, effective August 2nd, we will only be servicing arbitrage clients sending 2,000 units or more a month. If you do not meet this requirement, here is our exit plan; we’ll wrap up and send any inventory currently in our facility to Amazon and close out your account with us. For any inbound orders, we’ll have a grace period where we’ll honor the pricing and get them out within the target timeline. We have some options for where we can provide some possible recommendations for your business at your request, based on your volume.

Hey everyone!

Happy Monday! Wanted to let everyone know that we’ve been experiencing technology issues with ShipEdge since we’ve arrived this morning that prevented us from printing labels. SE came up with a short term fix for us so we can get rocking while they fix the issue(s). Of course this had to happen on a Monday, and on a Monday with over 800% increase of orders to fulfill. Love it! :)

We will have personnel working overtime today in attempt to catch up as much as possible.

Hey everyone!

Happy Wednesday! Wanted to send an update on a few things. I know I've been radio silent for a while, and I apologize.

1. Memorial Day - We are closed on 05/31 in observance of Memorial Day. Please plan accordingly for your eComs.

2. Effective 05/31 we will no longer be accepting new clients for arbitrage for our location. We do have other locations for those that are into arbitrage and need a home.

3. We have introduced a new "White Glove" service to a select few clients as a test and it's been working beautifully. That being said, if you have a brand or maybe have some exclusive wholesale accounts, and want to see how our "White Glove" service can help you not only automate your business, but grow it, let me know and we'll arrange a time to discuss it in greater detail and see if it would be a fit for you.

We'll have more important & exciting news to share on 06/01, so stay tuned!

Hey everyone!

Hope you all are doing well. As some of you may know, our area (once again) experienced some nasty storms last night. While the warehouse wasn't affected, most of the employees were between power outages and downed trees. Additionally, while we were able to get started with a light crew to process FBMs as the sole focus for the day, however the internet has been down which is obviously preventing us from doing anything for Platform or eCom Fulfillment. While we're hopeful for it to come back online before the end of the day, we wanted to let you know that if the orders are unfulfilled, this is why.

General Summary….
The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for safely operating basic powered material handling equipment for the purpose of product receipt, storage and order fulfillment or prep for marketplace fulfillment. This position is responsible for product safety and quality.

This position will be responsible for…..
1. Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders and packaging components.

2. Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.

3. Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.

4. Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.

5. Sorting and build product to pallets to ensure compliance to customer expectation.

6. Use of machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets.

7. Perform a pre- and post-equipment checklist.

8. Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.

9. Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.

Qualifications

You might be a great fit if….
Education/Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred

2. Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment, i.e. electric pallet jack, forklift, etc.

3. Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and flexibility in meeting deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

4. Customer service driven.
Strong team player.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

Important update regarding tomorrow (03/16). We have severe weather moving in and Gov. Kay Ivey has already issued a state of emergency for the entire State of Alabama. While we have intentions of being at the warehouse, we'll likely close early depending on weather.

Hey everyone!

Happy Monday!

Wanted to share some updates on things that's happening at DSP.

Software: We've been aggressively working towards getting everyone swapped over to the new system as quick and effectively as possible. Our goal is to get everyone live by April 1st.

Workflow/Process Change: As announced in on February 11th, we've changed our process in how we get the shipments created for Amazon FBA. We announced that as part of the work order submission, to create the shipments and forward the shipment IDs to us. We understand that this is a big change, and change is difficult, so we listened and got creative. We're in the process of getting a VA to handle shipments for you, all you would need to do is to email him/her your list of SKUs and the quantities and they'll take it over from there - and it will be free of charge! More on that in the coming days!

Pricing Changes: (VERY IMPORTANT) We've had to redo the pricing structure. With the increases in costs (insurance, materials, etc), we had no choice but to make changes to our pricing structure. These changes take effect 03/15. Any shipments created on or after 03/15 will have these pricing changes in effect. Despite this, I'm confident that we still provide the best value. I never wanted to be the cheapest, but provide the best value.

Biggest take aways:
1. We did away with the tiered pricing and instead introduced flat rate.
Arbitrage: $1.15 per unit (Details on Website)
Wholesale: $0.95 per unit (Details on Website)
Private Label: $0.75 per unit (Details on Website)
2. Each business model has now their own pricing model (Arbitrage, Wholesale and Private Label).
3. Bubble wrap is now a separate fee, except for Bundle/Multipacks.
4. Monthly technology fee of $35* for the Order / Inventory Management System (Free for those with 500 units or more a month).
5. Storage Fees: If you're using our Platform Services and/or eCom Fulfillment Services, you get to enjoy a reduction of storage fees from $45 a pallet or $0.45 per cubic to $35 a pallet or $0.35 per cubic.

Delays: We have been a little backed up more than we like for our platform services (FBA, Walmart Fulfilled and Deliverr prep) due to the software training and warehouse realignment, and other changes occurring at the warehouse with this software transition. Please bear with us as we're navigating these changes/improvements to serve you better and more efficiently. Currently running about 2 days behind.

Email Notification: If you have any email notifications enabled from Amazon going to [email protected], please delete that as soon as possible. This is no longer used for the purpose we intended for it in the beginning.
