From "Safe" to Strapped. Strap Habit Founder – Nick

While at the Minutes + Hours Watch Show show in Chicago we took a moment to chat with our friend Nick from StrapHabit about taking the leap—leaving the stability of the corporate world to go all-in on his vision.

The watch community is a small world, and Nick’s hustle is a perfect example of why it works. Shout out to his incredible collab with —the "Real Men Wear Pink" charity strap. It’s a project dedicated to supporting the American Cancer Society proving that this hobby is at its best when it’s giving back.

From "Safe" to Strapped.

Earlier this year, I shared my involvement with the High School District 87 INCubatoredu class at GLENBARD WEST HIGH SCHOOL. Taught by Ronald Brock, this program provides a vital platform for young entrepreneurs, and I am incredibly grateful to have served as a mentor this year.

It was inspiring to watch the Cleatner team—Ethan Hunt, Jacob Quintos, Nadardeep Thukral, Liam Hepner, and Max Bakken—evolve, adapt, and grow over the course of the school year. This group successfully took an initial concept and transformed it into a tangible product through a rigorous process of:

- Product development and prototyping
- Strategic marketing
- Finalizing a high-stakes pitch for the "Sharks"

The most impressive part? This product has genuine market potential. Whether you are an athlete, a parent, a golfer, or a coach, the Cleatner solves a real-world problem.

John Cerasani got this car instead of a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.

Back in the late 2000's the uniqueness, style and sound of a Maserati was so cool. Also, to most Gen Pop / non car people seeing one was the same as seeing a Lamborghini or a Ferrari...they had no idea it was a third of the price.

Does a Maserati still hold the same weight today? What do you think?

Cubs are on a run. Time to grab a North Side Edition watch!

Here is a clip from the Spotlight Chicago TV segment where I got to talk about how I met David Ross at a Cubs Charity event and it turned into Rossy wearing the Wayfinder North Side Edition during games all over the world.

Big shout out the Rossy for the support! I still remember him sending me a photo of it on his wrist before he hit the field and my dad calling me to tell me he saw it on Rossy's wrist on TV.
