GETTING READY FOR THE OPEN HOUSE ✨

New work is taking shape at Silver of Oz.

This fusion pendant by Levent Oz is made from sterling silver, with texture created through extreme heat, and finished with a ruby in a gold setting.

The sterling silver earrings were individually hand-cut by Jacy Hannan and are receiving their final refinements before the Open House.

I'm busy creating new jewelry and getting the Silver of Oz studio ready for the Main Street Studios Open House.

Every piece begins with raw silver, careful craftsmanship, and plenty of time at the bench.

Main Street Studios & Art Gallery is celebrating its 10th Anniversary Open House on Saturday, August 8, from 10 AM–8 PM in Olde Towne Elkhorn.

Couples Night at Silver of Oz ✨
Four couples spent the evening learning real silversmithing and creating their own sterling silver rings to take home.

No experience was needed—everyone was guided through the process from start to finish, with time to relax, enjoy refreshments, and make something meaningful together.

Silver of Oz Beginner Silversmithing Classes are now enrolling in the Omaha / Elkhorn area.

Students learn traditional jewelry fabrication techniques including:
• Jeweler's saw techniques
• Filing, sanding and polishing
• Soldering and heat control
• Bezel construction
• Stone setting
• Ring sizing and design

This is a hands-on silversmithing class designed to teach skills that can be applied to future jewelry-making projects—not simply complete a craft project.

All materials are included. Students complete sterling silver jewelry while building a solid foundation in traditional silversmithing.

• September 25 – October 23 (Fridays)
