In memory of Michael Moats ❤️🕊

Michael Moats was a part of the Priddy Jewelers team and family for 29 years as our master bench jeweler. He was an incredibly talented man. Before Mike started working at Priddy Jewelers, he was an award-winning, specialty, advanced welder. Mr. Priddy saw his talent and offered to train him in jewelry repair and so began the journey for 29 years.

As our bench jeweler, Mike was meticulous in every repair, large and small. He took great pride in his work; a true artisan. He would go the extra mile to ensure the piece looked good as new, regardless of the age or the condition it was brought in. We were constantly amazed at the beautiful workmanship he turned out. On occasion, Mike restored a completely flattened ring and brought it back to life - you would have never known it had been damaged!

Mike touched many lives and when he wasn't working at Priddy Jewelers, he enjoyed making people laugh as Sonshine the clown. He was kind, loving, generous, and always had a big smile - mischievous too! We never knew what joke or prank he had in store for the day! Michael Moats was well known as a God-fearing man and one of the strongest men of faith we've ever known.

Mike's greatest pride and joy was his family. He often bragged on the accomplishments of his sons and grandchildren. Mike deeply loved his wife and always spoke of the great blessing she was in his life.

We could go on and on about our friend. He was a brother to us, a trusted friend and encourager. He will be greatly missed by his family, his work family, and friends. What an honor to have done life and work alongside such an incredible person.
