Our most excellent 1/2 price sale starts today and I realized I didn't put our address and phone number in my previous post. So here goes:

Tomorrow is the big day!!!! December 1 starts our 1/2 price sale. Folks this is a real 1/2 price sale. I am spending today dividing the old price tags so you can see the savings. We need to have all our inventory gone by Christmas because January 1st, we start our 'APPOINTMENT ONLY" phase. That means Rod will become a private jeweler sooooo, you will have your own private jeweler.
We will have our regular hours until Christmas and then the change to appointments. Thank you all for being the best customers a jeweler could possibly wish for.

Well.....SHAME ON ME......I just realized it has been almost a year since my last post for Goldenrod Jewelers. What an incredibility fast year it has been. Rod and I have been so busy, sold our house this last summer and bought our new one. That's exciting but exhausting too. Goldenrod has not hurt for business and that is mostly due to customer referrals. No amount of ad money does as well as happy customers telling their family and friends about a happy experience. All of this to tell you about 2 important announcements. Effective January 1, we will be going to Appointment Only, no regular business hours. The upside of this is he will be a "Private Jeweler". One on one customer service. How cool is that?? The second announcement is effective December 1st, all our inventory is being sold at 50% off. No adjusting the prices, just a flat 50% of the prices. Since we will be working by appointment, it makes no sense to have inventory. So until the end of the year all is normal and after that call for an appointment. Rod is in his 50th year of being a Jeweler and this change is long past due. Thanks to all our customers (since 1995) and we look forward to our new way of supporting you. I will be posting more soon.

I was just listening to the song "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" here in the store with he sound of my husbands grinder in the background and I thought, how many Christmases are made perfect because of the hard work done by a jeweler in the back room plying his trade. A customer just left here a few minutes ago with a custom pendant request and Rod will have it completed by Christmas Eve. Amazing!!! I thank every one of you jewelers.🥰

We wanted to share a nice thing one of our dear friends and associate did for us. Yesterday we opened our front door and received a beautiful and huge pumpkin pie from Kanon Electric (Jim and Bonnie). What a wonderful thing to receive especially at this time of year. They do this every year as a thank you for being their customer. Bonnie Boucher, we would be your customer anyway but thank you so much. So much talk and worry about this virus thing and everything that goes with it. (a lot of uncertainty) So, here is our part in this whole mess. Gold is up right now and it's a good time to sell and flip your old gold and silver jewelry, teeth crowns, or silverware. You know, since you have a lot of down time right now anyway. I tell people all the time to get rid of their old gold and silver and most of you agree "yes, I need to see what I have." Now is a perfect time. I will be paying top dollar and you may get more $$ than you ever thought you would get. Most people are surprised when we sort through and value it. Some of you may view this as a sales pitch, but I see 1 more way that your worries can be eased. We can make an appointment, wash our hands, I will clean the desk and we are off and running. Love, love, love it when Rod takes an old ring and gives it new life. Our customer inherited the yellow gold ring from her mother several years ago and never wore it because it just was not her style. Soooooo, Goldenrod Jewelers to the rescue!! We showed her some different styles that would set the diamond at its best. She picked the white gold mounting and Rod went to work. Folks this diamond is almost 3 carats and it is a very nice quality diamond. What a shame it was sitting in the dark for so many years. But now it is in the light, looking gorgeous, and being appreciated. We would really like to know what you think.
