My passion for 3d and sculpture started in 5th grade, as I took my first art class. I was fascinated as I got immersed in each project and enjoyed the creativity behin
d it. The teacher was very impressed to see how I turned simple projects into pieces that were interesting visually. I remember one particular project where we were to make a 3d sculpture that would be different from all angles, using found objects. It was a challenge that made me think and also spend hours on my design after searching the whole house and backyard for simple things to use on my design. Years later, I trained in Computer Animation for a graduate degree. Part of the classes I took included art courses that ranged from drawing to sculpting and painting. My passion for sculpting grew even more and over time, I decided to make art with it. What better way to make wearable art to share with others? I remember when I made my first jewelry piece and I saw someone wearing it. It made me get to tears, to know that the art I produced brought them as much joy as I experienced when I created it. I would also like to share my art and joy with you today.
